Capacity Power Group (CPG) is a team of experienced renewable energy industry professionals focused on developing stand-alone energy storage assets in congested grid environments.
Our experience spans from innovating rooftop solar PV technology and business models in the early Aughts to large scale PV farm and ESS deployments through the Teens and twenties. We bring an advanced, buinsess minded skillset, and an expertise in engineering and risk mitigation to developing, designing and deploying multiple gigawatts of renewable energy projects throughout North American Power Markets.
Based in Los Angeles with an outpost in the San Francisco Bay Area, CPG is proud to be a part of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) Community
Over 30 years of experience in the renewable energy industry in the United States. Developed and implemented dozens of projects totaling multiple gigawatts of capacity. Instrumental in developing, diligencing, financing and constructing projects with valuation totaling in the billions of dollars.
We are implementing Local, Clean, Smart Grid Projects. Local ESS stores carbon-free energy. Energy Storage Systems located at the source of the demand are fundamental to a sustainable, smart grid network.
CPG supports the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). Together, we are focused on industry-leading projects to build safe and reliable Energy Storage Systems. CPG Projects benefit our local communities and create high paying jobs. CPG continually collaborates with local jurisdictions and stakeholders on designs and installation practices that are on the forefront of electrical safety and quality.
